Carvél Painting believes we all have a role in taking care of our planet and its people. Here at Carvél, we take personal responsibility, reducing our footprint whenever and wherever we can. We offer many affordable green painting products. We recycle. And we run clean job sites.
Eco-friendly Practices
Saving our planet from ourselves begins at home. For us at Carvél Painting, that means at home on the job site. We use recycled paint whenever possible, but running an environmentally responsible job site requires more than just recycling. We have instituted several practices that - though minor in themselves - add up to great benefits for our environment. For example, we reuse canvas drop cloths, buckets, rollers and brushes. We clean up with a minimum of water usage. And we use eco-friendly painting products as much as possible.
Eco-friendly Paints & Stains
Green painting products are affordable, and we can show you how you can include this healthy alternative in your home or commercial project. We provide you with many choices in low-VOC (volatile organic compound) and no-VOC paints, stains, and coatings. We also provide many beautiful and durable faux painting alternatives. The list of eco-friendly building supplies that we offer is rapidly growing. We think you’ll find that alternative products are not so alternative anymore.
Our Eco-friendly Efforts
- Paper Reduction. This is a big one for us, as it is for any business, and we do our best to reduce our footprint by reducing our paper usage. So, whenever we can, we email bids, Fax to avoid excess envelopes and transportation impact, and we track employee time and jobs electronically.
- Travel Reduction. We provide GPS (Global Positioning Systems) for our drivers. GPS helps us reduce our fuel usage, our carbon output and, as an extra bonus, reduces our urge to print out a computer map.
- Solar Power. We house our Website on a solar-powered server.
- Clean up and Recycle. We watch our water usage both on the job and off, cleaning up with the minimum of necessary water; we also reuse our drop cloths, brushes and rollers whenever we can, creating our own on-the-job recycling.

- Zero- and Low-VOC Products. We provide you with many product options, and we keep up-to-date on new Zero- and Low-VOC products. We think these products are good for your health and for the planet. We know they are durable, beautiful, and carry a full warranty.
- Recycled Products. We can provide you with recycled paint. These products come with full warranties and help reduce toxic waste in the environment.
